Chair Introduction: Karissa Lin (Vice Chair)

Hi everyone!

My name is Karissa and I’ll be one of your UNODC Vice Chairs this year. I am a sophomore at UC Berkeley studying Public Health with an intended minor in Bioengineering, and I’m hoping to pursue medical law in the future. This is my 4th year doing MUN and 1st year in BMUN, so I’m excited to see how this conference goes!

Outside of MUN, I’m part of a homeless outreach group that goes around the Bay distributing Naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and other health supplies. I also take part in Cal Figure Skating and copy editing for The Daily Californian (UC Berkeley’s newspaper). Other things I’m passionate about include rescuing dogs and rabbits, traveling the world, and watching shows (which I am particularly dedicated to). I hope to continue doing all of these in the future :)

If you have any questions about UNODC or the topics, please don’t hesitate to email me at klin@bmun.org or any of the UNODC chairs. See you at BMUN LXIX!

All the best,

Karissa
